Product creation is probably one of the most scary propositions online today. I think many people fail online because they are not willing to create their own product.

Sure, affiliate marketing is great, but you never have any control over the sales cycle, the sales process, or the payment stream.

With affiliate marketing, you are at the mercy of the affiliate program. If they pay, great. If they dont, then what? With your own product and a paypal account or click bank account, you are going to get paid if you produce something worth buying.

So your first step is to simply decide you are going to create your own product.

Where do you go from there?

1) Decide what your niche market needs.

2) Do the necessary research to produce what your niche market needs.

3) Write an outline of all the information you have about your niche market needs.

4) Arrange your outline into chapter ideas. Every full idea you have should become a chapter. Each chapter should have at least 3 sections: a) introduction, explanation, background, b) complete how-to-do-it steps and c) a list of resources and/or references for further information. Never assume you have given all the information; sometimes just hearing it in another voice is whats needed for some people.

5) Begin writing. This is probably the scariest exercise of all, especially if you have never written. Just do it. Carve out 2 hours a day for writing and just write. Sure, the first few days worth might be worthless, but who cares? You are learning a life long skill; it wont take you 4 years like your bachelors did, and this will pay better, if you get good at it.

6) Pull it all together, package it up nice, proofread it, upload it into a PDF, put a cover on it, and call it done.

7) Write a sales page. If you cannot write persuasive copy, buy a sales letter creator of some kind (there are several good ones on the market).

8) Put the sales letter on the web and drive traffic to it.

9) Start over with a new product. Dont let one product get stale before you create the next one.

Discount hunters seem to love online auctions. They have all sorts of tips and techniques for snagging huge deals. One of the easiest techniques for finding deals is so obvious that you might not even see it - misspelled auction titles.

Sometimes people don't know the correct spelling and spell phonetically, sometimes the press the wrong key on their keyboard. Other times they switch around letters in the word.

Next, paste each of the words you came up with into the Search box and then Search for the typos.

Doing this manually is a tedious process. There are a number of tools available that will create the variations for you automatically and they are all helpful.

Here is a little tip. If you see a good auction going where you think you might save some money, don't bid. Just watch the auction and place your bid at the last moment. This way you can keep from staring a bidding war over the product and you will make better deals. This practice is called 'sniping' and, yes, there is software that will snipe for you too!

According to Porters Five Forces Model, in my opinion, competition has increased overall as a result of the internet and e-Commerce. The internet and IT has made it possible to both focus on the top and bottom lines and market share is expanded and costs are cut. Many products and services exist just online, major companies have gone online to successfully augment the brick and mortar corporations, and the playing field is all the way to edges of cyberspace, wherever that is. We will further evaluate this stepping through all five forces.

Buyer power is higher when buyers have more choices. Businesses are forced to add value to their products and services to get loyalty. Many loyalty programs include excellent services that customers demand on-line. Customers want to solve their problems and many times they are more successful on-line than on-phone. Also, we see internet savvy businesses springing up offering more valuable goods and services at lower costs. Now with the advent of eBay, many people are assuming roles as drop shippers. Individuals can have a thriving business selling goods of larger companies without having to carry inventory.

Supplier power is higher when buyers have fewer choices from whom to buy. As mentioned earlier, drop shipping has increased the amount of suppliers available. How internet Marketing And Sports Made Me A Success

Man, I could visualize myself doing the same thing. I thought to myself "If only I could do that"! Later that year I decided to become a softball player.

Unfortunately it was alot harder than it looked. I joined a team that was near the bottom of the rankings, no one else wanted me. Why? Because I was a downright bad player. And I mean badly as in no good.

In fact I stunk! The only thing I had going for me was this fierce burning desire to succeed as a good softball player. The fire was inside me and I wanted to be "GOOD!" Now what does this have to do with internet Marketing?

Just give me some time here and you will see where this is going. At 22 years of age I could not run, throw or hit. Nor did I have any special athletic abilities, at 5'7" and about 130lbs. I was not much of a softball player.

The team I joined used me very sparingly and rightly so. My butt was on the bench so often I was seriously considering buying pillows for my rear end.

The following year before the new softball season started. I purchased a book called "How to play slo-pitch-softball". This book was instrumental in my education and desire to become a good softball player. It had techniques on holding the bat, fielding, throwing, and running the bases. I read it thoroughly and followed its advice. That season I became a better player. I Spent much less time on the bench.

The next year I decided to become even better. I purchased a book called "Hitting a softball for distance and power" It thought me what exercises I needed for upper body strength, what type of bat to use for quicker more powerful swings. Clearly the following year I no longer sat the bench. I also purchased a book called "Leg exercises for speed". It took a few years but I became faster, quicker and stronger.

I was now in my late twenties and at 160lbs. a very good slo-pitch softball player. I had numerous teams asking me to play for them. Wow what a turnaround! It took me about 6-8 years to become a successful softball player. Now again you say what the heck does this have to do with internet affiliate marketing?

Actually plenty. I am now in my mid fifties. At first I stunk at internet Marketing just like I did at softball but I slowly began to get better. I read till my eyes burned and I still do.
